Location:

 

From I-80, exit 54, go 7 miles north to ELK HORN.  The mill is on Main Street.

   

Comments:

  A 60 foot high authentic windmill, dismantled in Denmark and reconstructed in Elk Horn, in 1976, as an operational museum.  There is an extensive gift shop.  The mill is an Iowa Welcome Center.

Summer Hours
     Monday-Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
