A three story brick, steam
powered woolen mill built by Walton Watkins. Has all textile milling
equipment intact; also an "Evans-type" gristmill in the building. The
mill and Greek Revival style house and out-buildings make up the WATKINS
WOOLEN MILL STATE HISTORIC SITE, which is a living history-style park.
Site is owned by the Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources. Listed on the
