In SALEM, in the Mission Mill Village complex.

   

Comments:

 

A large multi-storied bldg., painted red.  In Operation from 1889 until 1962.  Now a part of a large museum.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, 1984.

Operation Schedule:
  Open daily Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
       Tours Self Guided 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.
Closed on Sunday and some holidays.
Admission Charged
Festivals:
  The museum offers Family Fun Saturday - 2nd Saturday of the month and every Saturday June through August  11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

They also offer a variety of one day Summer Camps for kid of all ages.

Annual Sheep to Shawl Festival is held in late May
Old Fashioned Independence Day on July 4.
Magic at the Mill - a holiday lighting and living history event December 19-23.
