Looking for DVDs/videos of saw and grist mills in operation/construction and photos of mill models and dioramas. Would like these to present programs and displays at our local historical society. Photos of mill models/dioramas would be ideal explain just how old mills worked. I am president of the Mercer, Maine Historical Society. Unfortunately, all we have left of our old village mills are photographs. However, last week I visited the remains of an old starch mill and its remaining dam structure. It
was quite impressive.
