See historic Locke’s Mill in action as it gears up for the grinding season the Shenandoah River. Explore all three floors of this USDA Certified Organic restored gristmill in Berryville, VA, and learn about the 18th-century technology that still powers the mill today.
Visitors will have a chance to sample Locke’s Mill grits and baked goods made with the mill's whole-grain flours, plus meet heritage-breed animals from Ayrshire Farm.
Admission is free, and a wide selection of freshly ground grains and flours will be available for purchase.
After the March 15 event, the mill is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the first and third Saturday of each month through November.
