Dear SPOOMers,

Hoping this finds you healthy and content. Missed you all at the conference, and looking forward to when we can all be together again.

Hatch Mill Group, INC. a 501(c)(3) non-profit who cares for the Hatch Mill in Marshfield, MA is seeking a turbine. Hatch Mill was a circular sawmill and boxmill. We're in the process of restoring the mechanical infrastructure.

The mill in 1872 had a Houston's Turbine Water Wheel which in the bill of sale says produced 22.05 horse power with 1-30 inch right hand Houston turbine water wheel, for a head and fall of 12 feet, the wheel made 140 revolutions when running at full gate and used 1215 cubic feet of water per minute. There were Case Gate Guides.

We are looking for a turbine with similar power that is restored or in restorable condition. We still have the Houston Turbine, but it's not restorable.

Please let me know if you're aware of any possibilities.

Thank you,

Amy
