Second annual to benefit the maintenance and future endeavors at Bahr‘s Mill. The ca. 1897 Mill was purchased by the Boyertown Area Historical Society about two years ago. It was a water powered mill that operated woodworking equipment via line shaft, grist mill, Sack hoist, cob crusher, corn sheller and a cable drive system from the copula to the barn for threshing. It was mostly used to make wagon wheel spokes, tool handles and wooden hay rakes. Much of the original equipment is still on display. Chicken Marsala or Peppered Steak Basket raffle, wine pull and more. $50 per ticket. Go to boyertownhistory.org/events/ or Facebook for tickets or more info.
